The Beautiful Disaster
For those who occasionally come to my blog to read my ever so often rants this one is definitely for the books. So, I got a phone call and it went a lil sumthin like this :: Hey! Girl how’s it going? I’m good and you! (Waiting for the I need a favor chime) I need a FAVOR (POW! His answer…well do you have anyone in mind.. ( 7 Days before the Shoot) … I say “ill see what I can do).
Through the entire week I’m going back and forth w/ all connects I have to see who can participate in the shoot<–WHY U ASK! I never had an answer at that time…but as the week progressed HE slowly made it apparent to me that HE HAD NOTHING/NO ONE! NOT even the models he claimed to have.
***This post is not bash the individual mentioned this is just a learning tool in…WHAT NOT TO DO***
Fast forward to the shoot! There are a list of things that should never happen when U organize a shoot (not the photographer)
1. Come Late (NO BROWNIE POINTS)
2. Come Late (NO ONE TAKES YOU SERIOUS)
3. Come Late (NO ONE WILL HIRE YOU)
4. Come unprepared to WORK (THAT'S LIKE TAKING A TEST WITH NO PENCIL)
5. Organize a SHOOT and NOT have a part in the production (WHAT R WE HERE FOR)
** I didn't want to do this but I had to get it off my chest **
We are not all perfect but there are somethings you must always be mindful of as a sign of respect to someone who is doing U a favor.
On my end…I feel the ladies were GREAT TEAM PLAYERS…I would also like to take the time to appreciate the host and cook…YUM..those pancakes were the bomb!

This Ain’t Bally’s
LMAO @ Day 2…No inside the gym activity today…Your ass is gonna go outside and do a crazy ass walk…When Danny (trainer) said “death awaits”<—he was NOT joking. My ass had to POWER walk to secret location which lead u straight to HELL…then u had to track through HELL up a ginormous hill that should be BANNED<—-I didn’t cry this time! I had to track up and down HELL 3 times…then POWER walk back to home base for a nice long stretch..
Working out is no laughing matter. I now understand why you have to be mentally prepared because the journey is not for the weak. I got my diet. It looks yummy but where’s the ketchup and honey<–my favorite condiments in the world! (Gonna miss you guys) LOL! Stick to it and you will see results!
I believe once I have reached the goal there will always be a fat bitch inside<–but as long as that heffer stays inside WE will be tight like a grip!
I’m hungry…gotta go!<—lol still on the train! Damn I’m only at Canal…Fooood!
The pic is me looking at HELL<–Nice right!

My Life…My Way
I have always struggled with the choice to loss weight. Whether it was because I was suppose to like who I am at the moment (love the fat) or because it cost too much or because the thought of sweating grossed me the hell out. Out of all the conclusions I came up with as to why I didn’t lose weight there was really only one determining factor..LAZINESS!<–its the root of all evil. I have decided at this point in my life I need to be spiritually, emotionally and physically healthy. I have gotten rid of most of the people I thought were my friends WEIGHT…now its time to get rid of PHYSICAL CASSIE WEIGHT! I have already begun STEP ONE which for me is admitting there is a PROBLEM. I contacted a friend I've known for a while and told him that I was ready. He said his name is Danny (I will formally introduce him to you later) and he is THE BEST! Well I said my body will be the judge.
Today Saturday, October 3rd I made my way to Washington Heights<—no complaining! As soon as I walked in dude said "put ur stuff up and let's work." I was like YESSS!!! I was mentally prepared to actually meet someone who was gonna be like "ur friend this ur friend that." I must say I was VERY SURPRISED! It was all about ME!<—YESSSS! He put me on a treadmill walking up hill (at a high rate of speed) for 15mins. I have never sweat so much in my life. As I felt the sweat drip from my face I thought "this is what I need" NO BITCHASSNESS!!! I did about 5 different exercises…he definitely put that ass to work…then picture time. As everyone knows I do not like people taking pictures of me; this picture was WAY DIFFERENT…this was the pull up your shirt "time to show the lady LUMPS"…oh hell no I thought to myself. This is where I had to result back to my STEP ONE: Admit there is a PROBLEM. The problem is I am fat and overweight and it needs to change. So after crying about it (yea that was recorded to) I lifted my shirt and exhaled. See u Tuesday he said…I said hells YES!
As my workout was earlier in the day it really helped set the tone for the rest of the day. Instead of sitting in front of the tv and falling asleep; I plan to PLAN. My future will be brighter and more fufilling now that I have a physical plan. If I'm not thinking about how to plan to be lazy (watch tv,etc). I can think about other things. The sky will never be my limit. This is the time to go against ALL odds.
